| What? | The information we collect depends on the product or service. It can include: name, address, phone, email, tax ID, business and financial details, claims and loss history, and payment information handled by our payment processor. |
| How? | All financial companies need to share customers' personal information to run their everyday business. Below we list the reasons we may share it and whether you can limit this sharing. |

What we do
- How does Snow Canyon Insurance protect my personal information? We use computer safeguards and secured files and buildings, encrypt data in transit and at rest, require multi-factor authentication for staff, limit access to those who need it, and log access to records.
- How does Snow Canyon Insurance collect my personal information? We collect it when you request a quote, apply for or change insurance, file a claim, use our website or portal, or contact us. We also receive it from insurance carriers and other companies that help us service your insurance.
- Why can't I limit all sharing? Federal law gives you the right to limit only sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes (creditworthiness), affiliates from using your information to market to you, and sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws and individual companies may give you more rights to limit sharing.
Definitions
- Affiliates: companies related by common ownership or control. Snow Canyon Insurance has no affiliates it shares your personal information with.
- Nonaffiliates: companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Insurance carriers and service providers who help us operate are nonaffiliates; we share with them only as described above.
- Joint marketing: a formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. We don't jointly market.
